NetLibrary

NetLibrary - 8/28/10 - 1. I looked up Husky dog on the NetLibrary. Using the full text I got 43 results. Some of them fit - others not so well. For instance - I got results for husky voice, and husky summons. There was a interesting book called Adventure Guide to the Sierra Nevada. This book contained items about husky dogs, mushing, Husky express. The results also listed White Fang and Dog Law. I then tried the search to keyword and got no search results. I changed the keyword to dogs and got 5 results. They included: Cheyenne Dog Soldiers..., Lost Dog, Dark-brown dog, Rolf in the Woods..., Dog Law. I think I will have to use it more to fully understand the capabilities. I signed up for an account.

2. Constitution Day results - a NetLibrary book - The Constitution of the United States of America listed the articles individually. An ebook Representing Popular Sovereignty: The Constitution in American Political Culture talks about Constitution Day.

3. I looked up Nebraska as the publisher for more info. There were 56 results. The first one I looked at was The Changing Image of the City: Planning for Downtown Omaha 1945-1973. My husband is from Omaha so I was interested in book. Many other books were about Native Americans in the area. I know that Univ. of Nebraska does publish many books about Native Americans. One of the books was called: From Fort Laramie to Wounded Knee: In the West That Was, and Wakiyan: Lakota Religion in the Twentieth Century.

  1. Thanks for your report, BinchyFan. Remember this one as a resource for full-text books for those last-minute researchers or for areas where your library does not have much information.
