#7 - ArchiveGrid - MANY achival items to select from. Almost overwhelming. I looked up "Sitting Bull autograph card". ArchiveGrid said an autograph by Sitting Bull was on archieve at Cornell University. Gave the call number and said to contact an archievist. This autograph has been digitized for Vanishing Worlds Enduring People exhibit.
I looked up Ben Franklin. I started looking up some of the items. Ben Franklin search came up with 1,585 items. So obviously I need to work with ArchiveGrid more to really figure it out. At this point I think this would be more valuable to myself and other historians. High schoolers would find this complicated.
You are right, BinchyFan, this one is for serious researchers. For the most part, it gives information about collections and where they are held, so that researchers can make arrangements to visit or try to obtain photocopies. Thanks for giving this a try and giving us your comments.
