1. I searched my own name. I could only find my name once - and my birthday was wrong. Instead of May 29, 1967 it said May 15, 1967.
2. I had more luck when it came to researching a grandparent. First off I checked out my grandfather Rev. Charles Lloyd Voll. I found his death record information. I also looked up my great grandfather Leslie Hall Cornell. I found his WWII registration card. It was signed by my great grandfather! Cool! I knew my great grandfather - he was in his mid 90's when he died. My great grandmother Jennie "June" Henderson Cornell also lived into her mid '90's. My great grandparents were married over 70 years! We had a 5 generation picture even! I really liked finding info on my grandparents!
3. I checked out Photos & Maps and put in the keyword South Dakota. I checked out the professional baseball players 1876-2004. Really interesting. I'm going to have to research some more on these ball players.
You made some fun finds, here, BinchyFan! One of the plusses of this resource is being able to see relatives' handwriting. In some cases, if a person doesn't have a photo, you can get a physical description from those military registration cards. Thanks for your comments!
